Prologue


Draymar looked around her round black oak table. Each of her children was seated around the table. The moon's beams shone through a hole in the ceiling.  
"Everything is going quite well, all but the current battles," meowed Draymar, starting the meeting.
"Well if he hadn't sent those mangy pelted cats of his onto my land, it wouldn't have been started!" hissed one of the Goddesses.
"Well if it hadn't been-" began one of the Gods, before he was cut off.
"Stop," growled Draymar jumping up from her spot. "There are more important matters to attend to, and we shouldn't be wasting our time fighting," continued Draymar.
"Why my love, why must you stop the entertainment?" meowed a smooth, but dark voice in one of the shadowy corners. A slight scruff against the stone cold ground gave away a strong, handsome, sleek pelted, black cat. Draymar noticed his mystic green eyes piercing though the darkness.
"How did you get here?" Draymar snarled.
"Well, let's just say your 'agents' need to be more…observant," he chuckled.
"What do you want Demonic?" interrogated Draymar, narrowing her eyes. She hated it when he came here when she told him he didn't belong here.
"Can I not just show up and see what is wrong? And I wanted to see my little kittens again," he replied evenly.
"Mother!" exclaimed her daughter, Faynu, the Goddess of Water. Draymar could sense fear coating her tone. Draymar's icy glare turned away from Demonic to her daughter to see what was wrong. She noticed her daughters eyes were darted skyward, toward the moon. Draymar made her way to where her daughter was sitting; she then looked up at the moon. Suddenly her eyes began glow a golden color, her pupils were swallowed whole by puddle of gold in her eyes. Her eyes were locked on the moon, as if she was in some trance. Unexpectedly, the moon's bright beam began to darken. A shadow was creeping over it, making the room darker.
"Mom?" asked one of the Gods, a ferocious orange pelted tom spoke out, his flaming green eyes clouded with worry.
"No, don't interrupt, she is having a vision," silenced Demonic quietly. Then, Draymar's voice rippled through the silent air, it was deepened, and seemed to echo after each word.
"Darkness will overcome light," she spoke, then paused.
"All hope will be lost, only balance and peace can return the light lost from our world," she continued, and then paused again.
"Eight must become one, and save Sebrea from this unexpected darkness. The days of dark have come, eight must rise together, one will refuse to join without further persuasion, or collapse divided," finished Draymar. Draymar's eyes then suddenly went back to normal, and her voice returned.
"Each of you needs to send a message to your Kingdoms' Yoctors, now! Say exactly as I did, they need to know that each Kingdom must learn to work together!" exclaimed Draymar.
